Product 01

Oil Seals

Radial oil seals are round sealing devices used between rotating machine parts to retain lubrication and prevent contamination, and to separate different media within mechanical systems. They typically consist of a flexible rubber sealing lip bonded to a rigid metal case, often with an integrated garter spring to maintain consistent sealing force throughout service life. The sealing lip may be moulded or lathe-cut and can include hydrodynamic features for enhanced performance, while metal cases may be exposed or rubber-coated for improved installation and static sealing.

Hydraulic Seals

Hydraulic seals play a critical role in improving the performance and reliability of hydraulic cylinders. They prevent fluid leakage while enabling efficient pressure build-up within the cylinder, and are designed to withstand high pressures, extreme temperatures and transverse forces. In demanding applications, seals must maintain performance under continuous dynamic movement — their function goes beyond leakage prevention to ensure system efficiency, durability and operational safety.

Hydraulic Piston Seals

Piston seals are used in hydraulic cylinders to prevent fluid leakage and enable pressure build-up for piston movement. Installed inside the cylinder head, they seal against the cylinder bore to allow controlled extension and retraction. Trelleborg piston seals are designed for superior leakage control, low friction and compact installation, and are manufactured using Turcon® PTFE-based materials or Zurcon® polyurethane. These materials offer excellent wear resistance and outstanding extrusion properties, and perform reliably across a wide range of media and extreme temperatures.
